Child Safety Declaration

At AssistU Care and Support Services (AUCSS), we are currently developing and strengthening our Child Safety Framework to ensure it reflects the Victorian Child Safe Standards and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.

While this work is ongoing, we want to make clear our commitment:

  • We place the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at the centre of everything we do.
  • We have zero tolerance for abuse and take all concerns seriously, acting promptly in line with our reporting obligations.
  • We are committed to ensuring children’s voices are heard, respected, and valued in our services.
  • We are focused on building inclusive, culturally safe, and supportive environments, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with disability.
  • All staff and volunteers are required to complete mandatory checks and child safety training to uphold these standards.

We acknowledge that this declaration is a work in progress, and we are dedicated to continuous improvement in safeguarding children and young people within our services.

If you have concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a child in our services, please contact us directly at
